Our first project is to make infused water!
We wanted to make something that everyone can afford and use ingredients that are ready to use.
We asked students to keep fruit tops and bottoms of strawberries, apples, oranges, or lemons. It is an easy ingredient found from their weekly intake of vitamin and minerals. We also asked them to keep basil or mint stems. These are all ingredients they can find easily in their kitchen!
Then all they had to do was put all the ingredients into a transparent jug, jar, cup or glass and stir. Last but not least, wait until it turns into the colour of the fruit and drink up! This is a healthy and light drink that even children would like. It is also super easy and doesn't require any help from adults!
